With the help of our staff, Consuelo has been able to conquer basic computer skills and use these skills to further explore electronic resources provided by the Melrose Park Public Library. Starting with the basics, Consuelo learned computer operating skills such as how to use a mouse and typing. Using these skills, she started her first email account at the library. Currently, she is using our electronic resource, Mango Languages, to better her English-language skills. MPPL provides an array of resources to further your computer skills and make you self-sufficient in adult learning.
Check out one of our two new iPads for in-library use from the Adult Services Desk for Internet access and to access numerous online resources provided by the library. The iPads are easy to navigate and make it easier to view content. Sit and use comfortably from anywhere in the library for two hours of uninterrupted screen time.
